In a place where people gather together closely, she will spend three months discovering her true self and healing the wounds in her heart.

During the first script reading, Shin Hye-sun was already overwhelmed by the warm atmosphere of the story. The actress said, “This work reminds me that even if I’m not a perfect person, there are still many people who support me and love me. I felt comforted by that warmth.” She continued, “Even though Yong-pil, Sam-dal’s friends, family, local haenyeos and uncles sometimes complain about her, they are people who sincerely care for her. I really envy Sam-dal because she looks like a valuable person when having such people around.”

In short, Shin Hye-sun treasures the chemistry that comes from the relationships between Samdalri people. From the released teaser videos and images, it can be easily noticed that the connection between these people was formed throughout the comfortable filming process. The actors hugged each other as a way of greeting and understood each other just by looking into the other person’s eyes. Shin Hye-sun also enjoyed the filming and showed perfect harmony with other actors.

Regarding her co-star Ji Chang-wok, Shin Hye-sun commented, “He’s an actor who explains everything with his eyes”. She explained, “His eyes unconsciously become soft even in bickering moments. That reflects the ambiguous atmosphere between Yong-pil and Sam-dal, who have been friends since birth and are ex-lovers,  as they can neither avoid each other nor define their relationship”.
