One person was killed when a vehicle in which actor Oh Jung-se was on board crashed into a cultivator
According to Korean police authorities on October 19th, on the previous day, a witness reported that a carnival vehicle driving on the national road in Hyeonnae-ri, Bu-myeon, Geumsan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, hit a leading cultivator at 6:20 p.m. As a result, driver of the cultivator A (60) was taken to the hospital with cardiac arrest, but he passed away.
A’s wife, B, who accompanied him on the cultivator, was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Cheonan, and her current condition has not been confirmed. It was confirmed that C, the carnival driver who crashed into the cultivator, was the manager of actor Oh Jung-se, and Oh Jung-se was also on the vehicle. C was also transferred to a nearby hospital immediately after the accident and received treatment.
The police believe that there was no sign attached to the back of the cultivator, and are investigating exact circumstances of the accident.
Meanwhile, as of this afternoon, Oh Jung-se’s agency has not announced its official position. According to one of its officials, the agency is taking a cautious attitude in consideration of the bereaved families and is investigating the details of the accident.
