TWICE’s Japan debut 5th anniversary DVD/Blu-ray “T·W·I·C·E” took first place on the Oricon chart

TWICE topped the Oricon chart with DVD/Blu-ray “T·W·I·C·E” commemorating their 5th debut anniversary in Japan and re-proved their solid local popularity.

TWICE’s Japan debut 5th anniversary DVD/Blu-ray “T·W·I·C·E” released in Japan on May 25th topped 3 Oricon charts, including daily DVD ranking, daily Blu-ray ranking and daily music DVD ranking (as of May 24th).

This DVD and Blu-ray include interview videos looking back on the past, a collection of music videos of representative Japanese songs such as “Candy Pop” and “Breakthrough”, stage and making videos of the online live concert “TWICE in Wonderland” held in March 2021…

Prior to the official release, 9 members drew attention by releasing “Celebration Message to Myself” videos on “TWICE JAPAN OFFICIAL YouTube Channel”. They moved viewers with warm encouragement and congratulations, “Thankfully, we have received a lot of love over the past 5 years. We will continue to work hard to repay the love you have given us. We have done our best for 5 years, and we believe that we will do well in the future.”

TWICE is presenting a number of projects to commemorate their 5th debut anniversary in Japan, starting with the release of their Japan 4th best album “#TWICE4” on March 16th. On July 27th, their Japan 4th full album “Celebrate” will be released. Through the title track of the same name as the album, TWICE members express their gratitude to fans who always send them unchanging love. For the new song, members directly suggested lyrics ideas, and JYP Entertainment‘s representative producer J. Y. Park participated in writing lyrics.

Recently, TWICE successfully conducted their 4th world tour “TWICE 4TH WORLD TOUR ‘Ⅲ'” and raised their status as a “K-pop representative girl group”. Starting with the Seoul concerts in December 25th-26th last year, from April 23rd to 25th, TWICE held 3 concerts at Tokyo Dome, the “Holy Land of Japanese Stage Industry”, and attracted a total of 150,000 audiences for 3 days. They also sold out 9 concerts in 5 cities in the U.S. alone, including 2 encore concerts.

Member Nayeon will appear as the group’s first solo artist by releasing her first mini-album “IM NAYEON” at 1 p.m. on June 24th. The new album’s name “IM NAYEON” means her real name “Im Na-yeon” while also containing the message “I’M NAYEON”. Attention is focused on Nayeon’s performance as a solo artist.
