TWICE surpasses 10 million cumulative album sales in Korea

TWICE achieved the milestone of 10 million cumulative album sales in Korea.

TWICE sold 10,010,778 copies with a total of 19 albums in Korea, from their debut album “THE STORY BEGINS”, Nayeon‘s first solo mini-album “IM NAYEON” to their latest and 11th mini-album “BETWEEN 1&2”. TWICE showed off their strong album power and proved their reputation as “K-pop’s representative girl group”.

They upheld their career with the 11th mini-album released in August this year. The album surpassed 1 million cumulative shipments based on Circle Chart and helped TWICE become a million seller. The music video for the title song “Talk that Talk” exceeded 100 million views on YouTube on Nov 3th. With this, TWICE set the world record for girl group with the most number of music videos to hit over 100 million views with a total of 21 music videos, including all 17 title songs, 3 songs released in Japan and the first English single “The Feels”.

On Nov 23rd, another 100-million-view video was added. “TWICE ‘The Feels’ Choreography Video (Moving Ver.)”, which was posted on TWICE’s official YouTube channel on Oct 3rd, 2021, exceeded 100 million views on YouTube around 4:05 PM. TWICE re-proved their worldwide popularity by creating 2 choreography videos with more than 100 million views, from “CRY FOR ME” to “The Feels”.

TWICE is also boasting their strong presence as a “global top girl group” on Billboard. Their 11th mini-album entered Billboard’s main chart “Billboard 200” (week of Sep 10th) at No.3. Following 6th place with the 10th mini-album “Taste of Love” in June 2021 and 3rd place with the 3rd full-length album “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” in November 2021, they succeeded in entering the top 10 for the third time, setting the K-pop girl group record for most albums to land in Billboard 200’s top 10.
