In April last year, TWICE Nayeon had a quick makeover after years of being with TWICE. She welcomed the summer with a platinum blonde, receiving praise for a change in style and more freedom to express herself.
Nonetheless, this does not come without a price. In a recent interview with ELLE Korea, the TWICE member revealed her current hair condition. She showed a photo showing the current status of her hair and said that it was only half of the total amount before bleaching. “As you can see, I used to have a lot of hair. There was a lot. I think my hair has shrunk in half. Since I bleached my hair a lot,” said the idol.
Although it has been one year since Nayeon went back to being a brunette, the idol is struggling to maintain healthy hair. Her most recent attempt was to try on a wolf cut. The “POP!” singer did a proof shot of the process afterward.
In another behind-the-scenes photo of the haircut process, she showed the end of her hair, revealing a serious sign of damage. Fans and netizens hope her hair can return to its healthy state in no time.
