The solo album of TWICE member Nayeon, has been unveiled.
At 1 p.m (KST) on June 24th, Nayeon released her first solo album “IM NAYEON”, after 7 years of promoting as a TWICE member.
The album consists of 7 songs, including the title “POP!”, “No Problem (Feat. Felix of Stray Kids)”, “Love Countdown (Feat. Wonstein)”, “All or Nothing”, “Candyfloss”, “Happy Birthday to You”, and “Only the Sunset is Beautiful” (literal translation).
Among them, the title song “POP!” is drawing a lot of attention from fans and netizens alike.
“POP!” is a collaboration between leading domestic and foreign songwriters such as KENZI, Hayden Chopman, LDN Noise, and perfectly utilized Nayeon’s vocal color and charm.
The song, which carries the vibe of summer and an addictive melody, delivers a message that Nayeon would pop her object of affect’s heart like a bubble.
In the “POP!” music video, Nayeon gave off a cute and sexy feeling through various costumes.
Fans who watched the MV showered the female idol with praise, writing comments like “Nayeon is a real goddess”, “The MV is so well produced”, “This is just lovely”, and “The song is addiction”.
However, some netizens expressed a different opinion, saying “Nayeon is gorgeous, but the song is boring”, and “The chorus is a bit disappointing”.
Nayeon’s promotions for solo debut will entail appearances on Korean music shows like “Music Bank”, and entertainment shows like “Amazing Saturday” and “Omniscient Interfering View” (also known as “The Manager”).
The female idol will also appear on the American music show “MTV Fresh Out Live”
