TWICE Jeongyeon’s first update since her hiatus, her agency said, “She’s recovering her health”.

TWICE Jeongyeon, who is currently on hiatus, revealed her recent status.

Jeongyeon recently hosted a V LIVE with TWICE members and stood in front of the camera for the first time in a while.

Jeongyeon was absent from TWICE’s Seoul concert in December last year due to health reasons.

At that time, JYP Entertainment, her agency, posted a notice on its fanpage regarding TWICE‘s fourth world tour in Seoul, and explained, “She will be absent after consulting with herself and her members due to health reasons.”

Earlier, Jeongyeon temporarily suspended her activities in October 2020 and August last year due to health reasons. At the time, her agency said, “Jeongyeon is experiencing great tension and anxiety from her schedule,” adding, “She needs stability and rest.”

Jeongyeon recently stood in front of the camera again after a long time in a V LIVE on the night of Feb 7th. In the broadcast, which seemed to have been held at a golf suit photoshoot, Jeongyeon communicated with fans with a bright expression. She has also dyed her hair blonde.

Jeongyeon happily said, “Hi ONCE, it’s been a while,” before hosting the broadcast with Momo and talking to fans in front of the camera with Sana, Nayeon, and Dahyun.

Jeongyeon, dressed in a black T-shirt, looks lively overall. Fans who saw this video cheered for her, saying, “Health is the most important thing!” “I hope you can have time to relax your body and mind rather than make a comeback in a hurry,” “I’m relieved to see your bright expression,” and “Still, TWICE without Jeongyeon feels so empty, I hope to see her on stage soon.”

TWICE will perform seven nights in five U.S. cities, including Los Angeles on February 15th-16th, Oakland on the 18th, Fort Worth on the 22nd, Atlanta on the 24th, and New York on the 26th-27th.
