“Hope you are healthy”, netizens cheer for TWICE Jeongyeon, who appeared for the first time in 5 months
Jeongyeon, a member of famous Kpop girl group TWICE, made an update with a bright expression.
On July 26th, TWICE Jeongyeon, along with her groupmate Jihyo, attended the VIP premiere of the movie “Hansan: Rising Dragon”, which was held at Lotte World Tower in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul. This is the first public appearance of Jeongyeon ever since February.
At the event, Jeongyeon appeared with a bright smile and greeted fans, who have been worried about the female idol.

Ahead of TWICE’s comeback in June 2019, Jeongyeon had to stop promoting due to a herniated disc in her neck as well as other thyroid issues. In December 2021, the female idol also opted out of offline concerts due to health reasons.
In February, Jeongyeon attended the ‘TWICE 4TH WORLD TOUR’ performance held in Los Angeles (LA), USA, which was her first stage in about 6 months. At the time, fans of Jeongyeon expressed concerns about the female idol, whose appearance and status changed from the side effects of neck disc surgery.
Jeongyeon debuted as a member of Twice in 2015. Now in their 8th year, TWICE recently renewed their contract with their agency JYP Entertainment, overcoming the “7th year curse” in Kpop. On August 26th, TWICE is scheduled to release their 11th mini album “Between 1&2”.
