TWICE holds an exhibition commemorating their 7th debut anniversary… Confessing love for ONCE around the world
Famous girl group TWICE opened an exhibition and pop-up store that covers 7 years of precious memories with fans.
On October 20th, JYP Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as JYP) opened an exhibition & pop-up store “Together 1&2” to commemorate the 7th anniversary of TWICE’s debut in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Through this exhibition and pop-up store, which gathers all the group’s moments from their debut to the present, TWICE builds new memories with ONCE (fans of TWICE).
As the name suggests, “Together 1&2” is filled with the times ONCE and TWICE spent together. At the site, there will be a space where fans can see all the works and activities released from TWICE’s debut mini album “THE STORY BEGINS” in 2015 to the 11th mini album “BETWEEN 1&2” in 2022, as well as actual stage costumes. There is also an exhibition zone and a photo zone with cute props, and the pop-up store on the first floor includes a total of 20 different MDs, increasing the satisfaction of visitors.
The exhibition and pop-up store will be operated from October 20th to November 6th and can be visited through online and offline reservations. All visitors are provided with a ticket made with the main image of the exhibition, and a photo booth with a limited 4-cut frame and a photo card kiosk are also available. Meanwhile, JYP’s official online store “JYP SHOP” sells a total of 28 types of MDs, including 9 types of limited online MDs that TWICE members participated in the production themselves. Various events such as mock exams and attendance checks will also be held.
On October 20th, which is their debut anniversary, TWICE held a live on their official V LIVE channel, and expressed their feelings on the 7th anniversary. Here, the girl group expressed their sincerity by saying, “We have a lot of time in the future, so let’s keep moving forward. As we have been with the members for 7 years, we are very happy to be able to go together in the future as well.”
To ONCE, who has always shown great support, TWICE expressed their special affection, “No one can be sure of eternity, but I hope that the moment we spent together will be remembered forever. In the past and now, ONCE is a gift to us.”
Park Jin Young, the head of JYP, also recently left a congratulatory message on his personal SNS channel. “There is no other group like this. I’ve been producing and watching many groups over the years, but I’ve never seen a group that has continued to love and care for each other like this for over 7 years. TWICE is a group that is endlessly pretty, grateful, and lovely to look at”, he conveyed his heart.
Meanwhile, “TWICE FANMEETING ONCE HALLOWEEN 3” will be held twice at KBS Arena, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, at 1 pm and 7 pm (KST) on November 5th, splendidly decorating the 7th anniversary of TWICE’s debut. In addition, the fan meeting at 7 pm (KST) will be broadcast live online through the Beyond LIVE platform at the same time, and will be with more fans.
Twice was recently nominated for “Favorite K-Pop Artist” and “Best of the Year” at the “2022 American Music Awards” and “2022 MTV European Music Awards”, respectively. Their 11th mini-album “BETWEEN 1&2”, which was released in August this year, entered third place in the U.S. “Billboard 200,” ranking 131st on the latest chart, and has been on the Billboard main chart for seven consecutive weeks.
