TWICE became the first K-pop female artist to win at “Billboard Women In Music”

TWICE became the first K-pop female artist to be on the list of winners of the “2023 Billboard Women In Music” Awards.

According to Billboard’s official website announcement on Jan 30th (local time), TWICE will receive the “Breakthrough Artist” award of the “Billboard Women In Music” Awards held at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, USA on March 1st.

“Billboard Women In Music” is a large-scale awards ceremony hosted by Billboard that awards the best female artists, creators, producers and executives who have had the greatest impact on the music industry throughout the whole year. With this award, TWICE inherited the glory of previous winners in the category such as Idina Menzel, Tori Kelly, Maren Morris and Camila Cabello, reaffirming their worldwide influence.

TWICE MOONLIGHT SUNRISE

In addition, TWICE recently set a new record on the global music streaming platform Spotify. TWICE, which first entered the Spotify Daily Top Artist US chart on Nov 12th, 2021, put their name on this chart as of Jan 23rd and achieved a cumulative chart-in of 96 days. This is a new record of being ranked on the chart for the longest time among K-pop girl groups. TWICE continued to appear on the chart on Jan 25th, extending the record to a total of 98 days.

TWICE released the pre-release English single “MOONLIGHT SUNRISE” on Jan 20th and is gaining global momentum. Thanks to fans’ enthusiastic support, three remix versions “House Remix”, “Club Remix” and “R&B Remix” of “MOONLIGHT SUNRISE” were released on Jan 25th, increasing the satisfaction of fans around the world.
