Top Actor To Throw Birth Concert In Japan Right After Being Caught For Drunk Driving For The 2nd Time

According to the Suseo Police Station in Seoul on January 7th, Kim Jong-hoon changed his course while driving around the Nambu Circulation Road in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at around 3:30 a.m. on the 29th of last month and collided with a vehicle that was driving ahead. Police asked Kim to take a breathalyzer test, but Kim rejected it three times.

In response, police booked Kim on charges of refusing to take a breathalyzer test under the Road Traffic Act. After investigating Kim, police returned home, and plan to call him back soon to investigate why he refused to take a breathalyzer test.

Kim Jung-hoon was also booked for drunk driving in July 2011 and his license was revoked. He caused a stir by calmly continuing his Japanese schedule even though he was booked for drunk driving at the time. As the controversy grew, he posted an apology after returning to Korea.

This time, Kim Jung-hoon was criticized by Internet users for posting a New Year’s greeting message on his Instagram account, “Happy New Year, all the best in the new year,” only 2 days after causing the accident.

Kim is scheduled to hold concerts in Japan on Jan. 19 and 20 to celebrate his birthday on Jan. 20. Attention is focusing on whether he will be able to hold concerts at YES THEATER in Osaka on Jan. 19 and at Jiji Press Hall in Ginza, Tokyo, on Jan. 20.
