An actress drew attention from netizens for expressing her thoughts on being mentioned as a look-alike of ITZY Ryujin.
On June 5th, an article titled, “Kim Ji Eun, an actress who is often said to resemble ITZY Ryujin” was published on the Korean forum “theqoo”.
In particular, the article attached an interview between actress Kim Ji Eun, who became an MC for SBS’ “Inkigayo”, and her co-MC, MONSTA X Hyungwon, which was conducted back on April 28th.
During the interview, Hyungwon asked Kim Ji Eun, “You’re famous for resembling ITZY member Ryujin. What do you think about it? Can we expect a Ji Eun and Ryujin duo shot?”
In response to the question, Kim Ji Eun said, “I’ve heard a lot of people say that I really resemble Ryujin. When I had short hair for the drama ‘One Dollar Lawyer’, I saw a picture of Ryujin and realized how much we look alike. I’ve actually heard people say, ‘Ryujin, can I get your autograph?’ when I was walking down the street. I really want to meet her in person.”
After reading the article, netizens left comments such as, “When watching the drama, many people actually thought Ryujin had made her acting debut”, “They give off a Ryujin + Han So Hee vibe”, “Looking forward to ITZY’s comeback”, “Both of them are beautiful, so I’m excited”, and “I hope ITZY comes back soon so we can get to see a duo shot.”
