“Their face combination is crazy…” Kim Da Mi X Son Seok Koo are offered lead roles in “Nine Puzzle”
Actors Kim Da Mi and Son Seok Koo were offered the lead roles in the drama “Nine Puzzle” and are considering it.
On May 26th, Kakao Entertainment announced that they invited actors Kim Da Mi and Son Seok Koo to appear in the drama “Nine Puzzle”, which is scheduled to be produced.
The drama “Nine Puzzle” tells the story of Jo Yi Na, who has been charged with the murder of her beloved uncle. 10 years later, she is working as a profiler alongside the detective and her accuser Han Saem to unearth the truth about the murder. It is said that Kim Da Mi was offered the role of Jo Yi Na and Son Seok Koo was offered the role of Han Saem.
“Nine Puzzle” is helmed by Yoon Jong Bin, who directed “Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time”, “Kundo: Age of the Rampant”, “The Spy Gone North” and “Narco-Saints”, and penned by Lee Eun Mi, who wrote “Tunnel” and “Navillera”.
Meanwhile, Kim Da Mi’s Netflix original movie “The Great Flood” is set to be released in 2023. “The Great Flood” is an SF disaster film. Set on the last day when a great flood hit the Earth, it tells the story of people fighting in a flooded apartment with the last hope to survive.
In the movie “The Great Flood”, Kim Da Mi plays Anna, a researcher who develops AI to save mankind, and Park Hae Soo plays Hee Jo, who struggles to rescue Anna from the great flood.
Son Seok Koo’s Netflix original drama “D.P. 2”, “Murder DIEary” and the movie “Comment Army” are about to be released.
“D.P. 2” is a follow-up to the drama “D.P.”, which was released in 2021. It tells the story of a team of Korean military police with their mission to catch deserters. Son Seok Koo plays Captain Im Ji Sup.
“Murder DIEary” is a drama based on the work “The Murderer’s Toy” by Ggomabi, which was serialized on Naver Webtoon from July 2010 to June 2011. It tells the story of a man who accidentally murders a serial killer and a detective who pursues him relentlessly.
Finally, in the movie “Comment Army”, a reporter discovers the existence of a “comment unit” while reporting on online public opinion manipulation and encounters a shocking reality while covering them.
