MOMOLAND’s agency MLD Entertainment will launch a new girl group named “Lapillus.”
The MLD side announced on the 16th that “Lapillus will debut next month” along with the release of the official logo of Lapillus. It is a girl group that MLD prepared for the global market about six years after Momoland.
Lapillus is a Latin word that means “a jewel that changes color depending on the direction of light”. It conveys the message “Shine your Lapillus” to the world.
Nonaka Shana, former “Girls Planet 999” contestant, and Chanty, a Filipino/Argentine teen star, have been identified as the first two members of the new MLD girl group.
Meanwhile, MLD will start its debut promotion in earnest, starting with the release of Lapillus’ official logo.
