The “ugliest Korean actress” may actually look more stunning than we thought.
Comedian Jung Yi Rang works mostly as a member of the comedy show SNL Korea. With a unique appearance that’s not traditionally beautiful, Yi Rang often plays unattractive single women that are mocked for their appearance. In these short parodies, the comedian is always dressed in unappealing outfits, adorning the weirdest hairstyles and wearing the most off-putting makeup. As a result, she’s well known as “the ugliest Korean actress”.
Despite looking like that on screen, when in real life with decent makeup and outfits, Yi Rang actually has a quite pleasant visual. Now 40 years old with two children under her care, the actress still spots blemish-less skin that has overcome the test of time.
Alongside playing funny characters on SNL Korea, Yi Rang has also played minor roles in various TV dramas and movies, with her latest work being the 2021 Netflix series “So Not Worth It” .
