Dayoung of girl group WJSN (Cosmic Girls) has been appointed as the first female idol ambassador for construction machinery
Recently, HD Hyundai officially announced through its social media that WJSN’s Dayoung has been selected as the global ambassador for the firm’s construction machinery brand, making her the first female idol to hold such a position.
In the released photos, Dayoung can be seen holding a HD Hyundai employee card in one hand and a miniature forklift in the other, while looking at the camera.
According to HD Hyundai, Dayoung has been appointed as the ambassador for the construction machinery brand “Develon”. They also stated that Dayoung visited the HD Hyundai GRC office and even obtained a license for a small excavator, meeting the ambassador qualification with her extraordinary passion for excavators.
Recently, Dayoung gained significant attention through the YouTube channel “Workman” and its content series “Workdol”, where she shared the process of obtaining an excavator license and her experience working on a farm part-time.
In the video, Dayoung showcased her skills by personally operating an excavator on a farm after obtaining a license for a small excavator (under 3 tons). Her unconventional driving skills validated her role as the first female idol ambassador for heavy construction machinery.
