The meaning of BTS Suga’s tattoo, which allegedly lead to subway commotion with 7 injured?

The identity behind BTS Suga’s tattoo that excited fans so much, it caused a commotion on subway line 9. 

On August 6th, chaos erupted on Seoul’s Line 9 subway, and the loud screaming of BTS fans, known as ARMYS, is cited to be the trigger for the incident.

In particular, it is known that Suga held a live broadcast after his concert in Seoul, when his fans were heading home using the subway. 

Surprisingly, Suga revealed a tattoo of the number “7” on his shoulder and smiled. As a result, ARMYs who were watching the broadcast on the subway burst into cheers and started to scream.

As Seoul is suffering from knife-related attacks, the sudden screams ended up startling other subway passengers, who mistakenly thought this to be another incident. 

As a result, they started to try and flee, leading to 7 people getting injured. 

Then, what was the reason behind ARMY members’ excitement upon seeing Suga’s “7” tattoo?

For BTS and ARMY, “7” was not just a simple number. as it symbolized the seven members of BTS and the proof of their friendship. In addition, each member of BTS tattooed a “7” on their bodies, and the 7 tattoos can be combined to create the acronym BTS, touching many.

It is known that Jin got the “7” tattoo on his waist, RM on his ankle, j-hope on his calf, Jimin on his finger, V on his thigh, and Jungkook behind his ear. Previously, all have shared photos of their tattoos. However, Suga hadn’t shown his, fueling curiosity.

As a result, when Suga revealed his “7” tattoo at his concert and followed up with a live broadcast, ARMYs couldn’t help but shout with joy.

Furthermore, Suga’s tattoo was on his left shoulder, a position which holds a deep meaning for him. Specifically, Suga was involved in a traffic accident while working a part-time job delivering food during his trainee days in 2012, and got injured in his left shoulder. Afterward, in 2019, Suga underwent shoulder surgery and had to temporarily halt his activities.

While revealing the tattoo through his live broadcast, Suga raised expectations for BTS’s full comeback by expressing, “When I perform again in Seoul, I made a careful prediction that all seven of us will stand together on the stage as brothers,”
