Noh Tae Hyun, the contestant with the highest view count, shed tears in the teaser.
In Mnet’s “Be the SMF”, which will air on July 5th, the final 8 dancers who were selected to join the “Mbitious” crew, will be unveiled. In addition, the lineup of the 8 crews of “Street Man Fighter” will also be revealed.
Previously, 40 solo dancers, who didn’t have a crew, participated in missions through the prequel show “Be Mbitious”. Of the 21 dancers who survived the 1st mission, only 8 made it into the dance crew named “Mbitious”. The final team was decided by adding up the number of likes and views on their dance videos posted on YouTube, as well as the public evaluation score and judge score.
In the pre-release video posted on July 4th, dancers Wootae, PENTAGON’s Kino, Oh Cheon, and Trendee Rock were included in the Top 8 based on judges’ evaluation. When the Top 8 selected by experts were revealed one after another, the other dancers looked anxious.
In particular, even Noh Tae Hyun, who ranked first in the number of YouTube views, burst into tears. Noh Tae Hyun further raised curiosity by making an emotional remark, “Am I a person who can’t stand on the podium?”
Dancers Brother Bin and Kim Jung Woo were also shown looking nervous about the last spot in the “Mbitious” crew. Previously, the two had a one-on-one battle on “Be Mbitious”.
Brother Bin with more experience was expected to win, but surprisingly, the 19-year-old youngest competitor, Kim Jung Woo, who showed his potential through tremendous practice and hard work, won the battle.
Who will join the “Mbitious” crew? The lineup of other crews that will appear in “Street Man Fighter” and heat up this summer, will be revealed in “Be The SMF”, aired on July 5th at 10:20 pm KST on Mnet.
