“Still using honorifics to each other” IU dives deeper into her relationship with co-star Park Seo Joon while promoting for upcoming sports movie “Dream” 

IU shared she had not been able to talk casually with Park Seo Joon while working on the movie “Dream” together. 

On April 25th, IU’s official YouTube channel released a new episode “IU’s Pallette” with the title, “I’ll show you everything I can do with PR (With ‘Dream’ team)”. For this episode, IU joined the cast of the movie “Dream” and talked about various things. 

During the talk, Park Seo Joon said, “My MBTI type is I!” to which IU replied, “That’s a lie”. Taken aback, Park Seo Joon explained, “Yes, so I’m always shy around people. So, I couldn’t speak comfortably with you.” With this, IU confirmed, “That’s right, we still haven’t… [IU and Park Seo Joon are] still using honorifics to each other”. 

Nonetheless, IU continued, “So during our promotion schedules, I’ve begun feeling… feeling that we’re gradually warming up!” to which the actor agreed, “I feel that too”. The “LILAC” singer also hoped she could become closer to Park Seo Joon. 

IU and Park Seo Joon will appear in an upcoming sports movie “Dream” directed by Lee Byeong Heon. Park Seo Joon plays Hong Dae, a professional soccer player who receives disciplinary probation and has to lead an amateur soccer team. IU plays Lee So Min, an aspiring director who is making a documentary about Hong Dae’s sports team.

The movie will hit Korean theaters on April 26th, 2023.
