Actor Jung Woo-sung draws attention with his reaction to a fan’s placard proposal at the recent movie stage greeting
A video showing Jung Woo-sung at the greeting event for the movie “12.12: The Day” spread widely in online communities.
In the released video, a fan gave Jung Woo-sung a placard while he was going out of the theater after the event ended, and the actor noticed his name on it.
While waving to the audience, Jung Woo-sung was taken aback by the message, “My mom was born in 1973, but let’s get married, Jung Woo-sung”, on the placard. In response to the sudden proposal, the actor made an X pose with his arms and showed a pathetic look.
Although Jung Woo-sung pleasantly rejected the fan’s confession with his whole body, he held the placard in one hand even after leaving the theater amid the loud cheers from fans.
“12.12: The Day”, starring Jung Woo-sung, premiered on November 22nd and the actor is meeting the audiences through various promotional events. The film reportedly surpassed 7.16 million viewers on December 11th.
This movie depicts the nine-hour rush to prevent the rebellion of the new military forces that takes place in the middle of Seoul on December 12, 1979. Jung Woo-sung took on the role of Lee Tae-shin, the Commander of the Captial Garrison Command who tries to suppress the rebel force, raising the tension and increasing viewers’ immersion.
