Recently, a video showing IVE’s Jang Won Young being taken aback by an approaching elementary school student fan is spreading online, becoming a focal point of an online community. The video captures a moment during IVE’s schedule when they were on the move.
In the video, a young boy, dressed in a yellow T-shirt and appearing to be an elementary school student, approached Jang Won Young. The boy playfully tapped Jang Won Young’s arm, seemingly trying to express his excitement. However, Jang Won Young was taken aback and surprised by the fan who approached her without making any sound.
The female staff then grabbed the boy’s shoulder and pushed him back. The boy, not understanding what he did wrong, looked bewildered as he was pushed back.
Netizens who watched the video commented, “It’s no wonder she was surprised, considering how scary elementary school students can be,” and “If someone approached me like that to touch me, I’d be startled too.”
