Song Joong Ki’s British girlfriend was engaged to the second generation of an Italian Conglomerate in the past?

Suspicions that Song Joong Ki’s lover Katy Louise Saunders was engaged to the second generation of a Conglomerate are drawing attention.

According to reports by an Italian entertainment media outlet in 2013, Katy Louise Saunders was engaged to Giovanni Tronchetti Provera, the son of Italian car-manufacturer Pirelli.

Earlier on December 26th, HighZium Studio revealed that actor Song Joong Ki met a British woman through the introduction of an acquaintance and has been dating for a year. They said, “Please understand that we cannot confirm any information other than the dating fact.”

As soon as Song Joong Ki publicized his romantic relationship, rumors of marriage and pregnancy also arose. In particular, some even speculated that he had already promised a marriage with Katy Louise Saunders because she was seen wearing a diamond ring. 

Katy Louise Saunders was born in 1984 and is one year older than Song Joong Ki. She was born into a family with a British father and a Colombian mother. She is known to have spent her childhood in England and Italy. 

Katy made her debut in the U.K. in 2002 through the film “A Scandalous Journey”. After showing up at an event in 2012 with an appearance as if she were pregnant, Katy was rumored to have given birth to her child in the same year. In particular, netizens are claiming that she’s a single mother with a 10-year-old daughter and a son, and the two children have different fathers. In addition, there is also speculation that the fathers are raising the kids.

Song Joong Ki has not expressed any position on the allegations related to his girlfriend.
