Song Hye Kyo’s jaw-dropping filmography: Some of her dramas almost touched the 50% milestone 

Song Hye Kyo has had a successful acting journey with transformations here and there.

1. Autumn in My Heart 

“Autumn in My Heart” is the first drama series starring Song Hye Kyo after three years in the acting scene and immediately caused a stir across Asia. It became one of the most iconic dramas of the Hallyu wave in the 2000s. The viewership rating reached 46.1%, opening the “golden day” of Song Hye Kyo. 

2. Hotelier 

“Hotelier” performed exceptionally well in the domestic market, reaching a rating of 38.8%. In the drama series, Song Hye Kyo leads the drama alongside the icons of the scene in the early 2000s, namely Bae Yong Joon and Song Yoon Ah. Until now, Song Yoon Ah has been a constant source of guidance for actress Song in her career. 

3. Guardian Angel

Also in 2001, “Guardian Angel” greeted the audience and achieved an impressive rating of 31.8% domestically, showing how the average viewers at the time favored the actress.

4. All In

“All In” was the drama that brought Song Hye Kyo and Lee Byung Hun together. With amazing acting and touching storyline, the actress broke her own record by achieving 47% in viewership rating. 

5. Full House

In exchange for a soaring rating, “Full House” bridged the gap between the actress and international audience as the drama series, once again, brought her pan-Asian popularity. Her rom-com starring alongside Bi Rain garnered a rating of 40.2%. It showcased an iconic pure and innocent image of the actress to date. 

6. Descendants of the Sun 

“Descendants of the Sun” opens up a new era for the actress. For the role in the series, actress Song stripped off a fragile image marked by innocence and purity, and took on a bold and strong female image.  The drama series brought her international stardom and became an icon of K-dramas in the 2010s. The drama received a rating of 38.8% at the height of OTT platforms.
