“Doldam Hospital’s Dimple Goddess” So Joo Yeon confirmed to return in Season 3 of “Dr. Romantic”
Actress So Joo Yeon will join the cast of “Dr. Romantic 3”.
On November 4th, E&S Entertainment announced that So Joo Yeon would appear in Season 3 of “Dr. Romantic” together with Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Lee Sung Kyung, following Season 2, which was well-loved by viewers.
“Dr. Romantic” is SBS’s representative TV series, which received huge love from drama fans with Season 1 (2016) and Season 2 (2020). The production team of “Dr. Romantic”, which drew sympathy from viewers by telling stories of ‘real doctors’ working at the small hospital named Doldam, confirmed to produce Season 3 to continue the success of the series. Following the previous seasons, Han Suk Kyu will continue to play Kim Sa Bu (Teacher Kim).
So Joo Yeon appeared for the first time in Season 2 as Yoon Ah Reum, an emergency medicine resident who joins Doldam Hospital because she is impressed by Teacher Kim (Han Suk Kyu). Her character is an energetic girl who has a lovely appearance and a unique bright smile.
In particular, Yoon Ah Reum’s cute and sweet chemistry with Park Eun Tak (Kim Min Jae) was loved a lot by the viewers.
So Joo Yeon, who will return in “Dr. Romantic Season 3” with Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung, recently performed heavy and deep emotional acting when playing a trainee teacher who keeps the pain of her first love in “Seasons of Blossom”.
Meanwhile, “Dr. Romantic 3”, starring So Joo Yeon, is scheduled to air in the first half of 2023.
