It is said that writer Kim Eun Sook already had an actress in mind when planning the characters for Netflix’s “The Glory.”
“The Glory” is a Netflix series about a woman, who was broken even to her soul due to the horrible violence during her childhood, carefully prepared for her revenge her whole life.
Writer Kim Eun Sook, who wrote “The Glory,” was known to have written the script while imagining a specific actress who fits the role from the beginning.
At the production presentation of Netflix’s “The Glory” on Dec 20th, writer Kim Eun Sook talked about the casting of actress Yeom Hye Ran as Kang Hyun Nam. She said, “I wrote the script with Yeom Hye Ran in mind from the stage of character planning.”
Writer Kim Eun Sook expressed her trust and affection for Yeom Hye Ran, saying, “She was my first choice for the casting in my heart.”
Meanwhile, Yeom Hye Ran once played the aunt of Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun), Ji Yeon Sook in Kim Eun Sook’s tvN drama “Goblin.”
