SEVENTEEN Claims Top Spot in February Idol Group Brand Reputation, Followed by (G)I-DLE and RIIZE

SEVENTEEN shone by rising to the top of the February idol group brand reputation rankings

According to the big data analysis of idol group brand reputation for February 2024 released by the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute on February 15th, Seventeen claimed the top spot. Second place went to (G)I-DLE, third to RIIZE, fourth to IVE, and fifth to BLACKPINK.

Seventeen, recording the top spot in idol group brand reputation, garnered a brand reputation index of 5,915,377, with participation index of 711,774, media index of 1,041,776, communication index of 1,976,770, and community index of 2,185,056. This marks a 16.54% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 5,075,849 in January.

Director Koo Chang-hwan of the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute stated, “Seventeen’s brand scored high in link analysis for ‘proving, certifying, donating,’ and in keyword analysis for ‘Asia Tour, Nana Tour, Carat.’ It recorded a positive ratio of 91.08% in sentiment analysis.”

The Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute extracted 76,794,082 pieces of idol group brand big data from January 15th, 2024, to February 15th, 2024, for the analysis of idol group brand reputation. Compared to the 77,025,219 pieces of idol group brand big data in January, there was a decrease of 0.30%.

Brand reputation index is an indicator created through brand big data analysis, which finds that consumers’ online habits greatly influence brand consumption. Through the analysis of idol group brand reputation, it’s possible to measure the positive and negative evaluations of idol group brands, media interest, and consumer interest and communication volume. Qualitative evaluations from brand reputation monitors are also included.

Idol group brand reputation analyzed the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index for consumer evaluations of idol group brands through integrated brand category analysis of boy groups and girl groups.

In second place, (G)I-DLE’s brand achieved a brand reputation index of 5,671,073, with a participation index of 240,688, media index of 924,408, communication index of 1,956,261, and community index of 2,549,717. This marks a 110.03% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 2,700,100 in January.

In third place, RIIZE’s brand achieved a brand reputation index of 4,742,090, with a participation index of 877,884, media index of 957,577, communication index of 1,229,119, and community index of 1,677,510. This marks a 59.89% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 2,965,936 in January.

In fourth place, IVE’s brand achieved a brand reputation index of 3,219,634, with a participation index of 395,724, media index of 533,308, communication index of 815,236, and community index of 1,475,366. This marks a 19.68% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 4,008,299 in January.

In fifth place, BLACKPINK’s brand achieved a brand reputation index of 2,971,583, with a participation index of 161,014, media index of 374,730, communication index of 915,940, and community index of 1,519,900. This marks a 37.31% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 4,739,803 in January.
