Following actor Yoo Ah In, another actor will drop out of Netflix’s series “Hellbound ” season 2.
There are concerns that it will be difficult to secure continuity and probability with season 1 due to this dropout following Yoo Ah In.
According to Netflix on June 13th, actor Yang Dong Geun will not be able to participate in “Hellbound” season 2 due to personal circumstances.
Yang Dong Geun was scheduled to join “Hellbound 2” and play the role of the leader who leads Sodo against the religious group New Truth Society, which causes social disorder, along with Min Hye Jin (Kim Hyun Joo).
With Yang Dong Geun’s departure, actor Hong Eui Joon will join “Hellbound 2”.
Instead of Yang Dong Geun, Hong Eui Joon will play the leader who leads Sodo along with Min Hye Jin.
The production team put in actor Kim Sung Cheol last March as actor Yoo Ah In, who played a pivotal role in season 1, was unable to appear in season 2 due to drug charges.
The role of New Truth Society’s leader Jeong Jin Soo was passed from Yoo Ah In to Kim Sung Cheol.
Netflix’s series “Hellbound” tells the story of a supernatural phenomenon in which people are dragged to Hell by the angels of death that appeared without notice, the emerging religion “New Truth Society” taking advantage of this confusion and people who try to reveal the reality of these incidents.
“Hellbound 2” will unveil the resurrection of Park Jeong Ja (Kim Shin Rok) and Jeong Jin Soo, who were demonstrated after the shocking ending of season 1.
