Seven dramas scheduled to air in April, promising to keep the audience at home even on weekends

In April, many new dramas will be released, keeping the viewers entertained.

Terrestrial dramas such as KBS2’s Young Gentleman and Lady,” “Twisted Twist of Love,” SBS’ Business Proposaland MBC’s “Second Husband” are captivating the small screen. In addition, cable dramas such as tvN’s Twenty-five, Twenty-one,” “Military Prosecutor Doberman, JTBC’s “Forecasting Love and Weather,” “Thirty, Nine,” and TV Chosun’s “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce 3)” are pleasing to the audiencce’s eyes as well.

Following the above, here are seven new dramas that will make you stay at home with various materials and genres in April.

1. MBC’s “Tomorrow” starring Kim Hee-sun and Rowoon – April 1st

MBC’s “Tomorrow” is a fantasy in the afterlife office where the grim reapers who used to guide “The Dead” now have to save “People Who Want to Die.”

Actors who boast outstanding visuals such as Kim Hee-sun, Rowoon, and Lee Soo-hyuk will appear. “Tomorrow,” based on a webtoon of the same name by Ra Ma, will premiere at 9:50 p.m. on April 1st.

2. KBS2’s “It’s Beautiful Now” – April 2nd

KBS2’s “It’s Beautiful Now” is a drama depicting the process of three brothers looking for their future spouses to take the apartment promised by the adults of their family in this era where young people tend to avoid relationships and marriage.

Yoon Si-yoon, Bae Da-bin, Oh Min-seok, Shin Dong-mi, Seo Beom-joon, Choi Ye-bin, Park In-hwan, and Park Sang-won will appear. The drama “It’s Beautiful Now,” which follows the popular drama “Young Lady and Gentleman,” will open at 8 p.m. on April 2nd.

3. SBS’s “Again My Life” where you can see Lee Joon-ki as a college student – April 8th

SBS’s “Again My Life” depicts a young prosecutor who gained a 2nd chance to return to life only to take down a powerful crime boss.

You can see a hot match between Lee Joon-ki, Kim Ji-eun, Jung Sang-hoon, Kim Jae-kyung, and the “absolute antagonist” Lee Kyung-young. You can check out Lee Joon-ki’s visual as he turns back to his 20s in “Again My Life” which will begin at 10 p.m. on April 8th.

4. tvN’s “Our Blues” with a star-studded cast including Lee Byung-hun, Shin Min-ah, Cha Seung-won, Han Ji-min, Kim Woo-bin – April 9th

Set against the lively backdrop of Jeju island, tvN’s “Our Blues” is an omnibus-format drama that depicts the sweet and bitter stories of a variety of characters who are either at the end, peak, or beginning of their lives.

Top actors such as Lee Byung-hun, Shin Min-ah, Cha Seung-won, Han Ji-min, Kim Woo-bin, Lee Jung-eun, Eom Jeong-hwa, Kim Hye-ja, and Ko Doo-sim will appear in the drama. “Our Blues” is highly anticipated as it will show Shin Min-ah and Kim Woo-bin, who have been publicly dating for 8 years, sharing the screen. The first episode is scheduled to air at 9:10 p.m. KST on April 9th.

5. JTBC’s “My Liberation Notes” featuring unique characters played by Lee Min-ki, Kim Ji-won, Son Seok-koo, and Lee El – April 9th

JTBC’s “My Liberation Notes” is a story about three siblings who wish they could break out from their suffocating lives and the events that take place when a puzzling stranger arrives in their village. 

The cast including Lee Min-ki, Kim Ji-won, Son Seok-koo, Lee El, and Lee Ki-woo promise to show their unique presence through their characters.

6. tvN’s rom-com drama “Shooting Stars” led by Lee Sung-kyung and Kim Young-dae – April 22nd

tvN’s “Shooting Stars” is a romantic comedy about real-life stories of people who shed blood, sweat, and tears as they work behind the scenes of the flashy entertainment industry to make celebrities shine like stars in the sky.

The chemistry between Lee Sung-kyung and Kim Young-dae is attracting a lot of viewers’ attention. tvN’s “Shooting Stars“, starring Lee Sung-kyung, Kim Young-dae, Yoon Jong-hoon, Kim Yoon-hye, Park So-jin, and Lee Jung-eun, will broadcast its first episode at 10:40 p.m. KST on April 22nd.

7. tvN’s comedy murder-investigation drama “The Killer’s Shopping List” starring Lee Kwang-soo and Seol-hyun – April 27th

tvN’s “The Killer’s Shopping List” is a comedy murder-investigation thriller that follows a local supermarket owner, her cashier son, and a district police officer as they uncover the truth behind a murder case and tracking the killer down in an ordinary neighborhood with a supermarket receipt as their biggest clue.

Expectations for “The Killer’s Shopping List” are high as Lee Kwang-soo and Seol-hyun, who are both well-loved by the public, star as the leads.  tvN’s “The Killer’s Shopping List” , which is expected to show the fun dynamic between the cast, will premiere at 10:30 p.m. KST on April 27th.
