Red Velvet’s Wendy Addresses Fan Protests: “No More Trucks, We Can Handle It”

During a recent fancall, Red Velvet’s Wendy shared her thoughts on the matter, urging fans to reconsider their methods of showing support.

“No more trucks and emails,” Wendy said. “We’ve been active for 10 years. We can handle it (on our own). We’ve got some power too.”

In a reassuring tone, the idol reminded fans that their efforts might be better directed elsewhere. “Instead of spending money on protests, use that money to treat yourselves to some good food and drinks,” Wendy advised, highlighting a more positive approach.

Wendy’s candid remarks have initiated mixed reactions. While some view renting protest trucks and mass-mailing the company as essential for expressing fan concerns, others are starting to question whether these methods could potentially have negative consequences.

Wendy’s disapproval of these approaches suggests an inclination toward resolving the idols’ matters within the company, without external fan pressure.

Simultaneously, some fans argue that if Wendy shows support for these protests, it might strain her relationship with the company, while opposing them could disappoint fans.
