After spreading positive influence by donating profits from her bazaar, Son Ye-jin donated 150 million won to support babies, teenagers, and single mothers.
Earlier at the end of 2023, Son Ye-jin also delivered a donation of 150 million won to the baby box fund of Seoul Asan Medical Center and the Jusarang Community with her husband Hyun Bin. The donation would be used to cover treatment costs for children and teenagers at the medical center and support single mothers and babies in need of self-reliance.
Regarding the reason for her donation, Son Ye-jin showed a keen interest in baby boxes and expressed her desire to visit the baby boxes in person. After visiting the place together with the CEO of her agency, the actress immediately made the donation.
On the 15th of January, she also donated 40 million won earned from the charity bazaar she hosted through the Green Tree social welfare organization. Son Ye-jin, who really wants to help children in difficult situations, has continued spreading warmth in various ways, such as supporting neighbors in need, sponsoring children with incurable diseases, and providing scholarships for low-income and disabled children.
This is not the first time Son Ye-jin has done good deeds. She donated 100 million won to low-income families to prevent and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic through the Daegu Social Welfare Community. The actress also delivered a large amount of 200 million won to aid the victims of forest fires with Hyun Bin.
Son Ye-jin confessed, “After becoming a mother with a child, I have developed an interest in children living in difficult environments. That’s why I have been consistently supporting them through donations.”
Meanwhile, Son Ye-jin married actor Hyun Bin in March 2022. She gave birth to their son in November of the same year.
