Psy signed “exclusive contract” with Hwasa during his concert, “It happens for the first time in the world”

MAMAMOO Hwasa has officially become a new member of Psy’s agency P Nation.

On June 30th, the first day of  Psy’s “SUMMER SWAG 2023” concert in Seoul was held at the Olympic Stadium of Jamsil Sports Complex in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

During the concert, Psy said, “I’m running a music company called ‘P Nation’”, adding “It’s somewhat unusual to do this during a concert. Something that happens for the first time in the world? I’m going to sign a contract”, surprising everyone.

At that moment, Hwasa, who was said to be discussing a contract with P Nation, showed up on the stage amid loud cheers from the audience. Taking the stage, Hwasa said, “I just became a member of P Nation family a few minutes ago. I’m not saying this for a performance, but I’ve just done that for real. Everything was decided today”.

She added, “I have created such a meaningful memory”, then continued the concert with a medley of “TWIT” and MAMAMOO hit songs.

Meanwhile, Hwasa recently left RBW after being with the company for more than 9 years since her debut, and rumors of her moving to P Nation arose right after then. However, on the 27th, P Nation said, “The exclusive contract with Hwasa has not been confirmed. We are still in discussion”.
