Park Seo Joon’s US debut film “The Marvels” heralds NEW Hero Team including teenage Ms. Marvel

On Sep 1st, a video titled “Shining Marvels”, which is related to the upcoming MCU superhero film “The Marvels” (The Marvels), was uploaded on the YouTube channel “MarvelKorea”.

The video focuses on the story of Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) and hints at her connection with the Kree, including her struggles to recover lost memories. It also delves into her relationship with her close friend Maria Rambeau and the identity crisis faced by Carol Danvers.

In “The Marvels”, attention is focused on how she will accomplish her tasks with a new team. The video also hints at the story of Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), Maria Rambeau’s daughter and a new face in the MCU. She showcases her ability to manipulate electronic spectrum wavelengths, raising expectations for her role as a new hero.

The lively appearance of the teenage hero Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani), who gains superpowers through a gift from her grandmother, makes a strong impression. The unique setting in which the three heroes’ positions and abilities change each time they use their abilities adds to the excitement surrounding their performances.

The Marvels

Despite not having worked together previously, Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau and Ms. Marvel are closely connected characters in the Marvel universe. Monica is the daughter of Carol Danvers’ close friend Maria Rambeau and appeared as a child in “Captain Marvel”. Ms. Marvel is a devoted fan of Captain Marvel and idolizes her. Their interconnected abilities related to light are expected to introduce new and unseen powers and action sequences in “The Marvels”.

“The Marvels” is scheduled to be released in November.
