Over 600 Korean Police Deployed for BTS 10th Anniversary Celebration in Seoul

Korea’s Prime Minister has called for strict safety measures due to the large number of expected fans for BTS’ 10th anniversary celebration in Seoul.

BTS is preparing for the 10th anniversary celebration. This is a significant milestone for BTS and their fans, with a two-week-long festival planned. The event is expected to take place at Yeouido Han River Park in Seoul and attract approximately 300,000 fans.

630 police personnel have been deployed to ensure safety and control traffic starting from this weekend. Additionally, the police department has requested further support from local government officials to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the venue.

According to the plan, a nearby road to the event venue will be sealed off. 630 police officers will be assigned various tasks to regulate traffic and maintain control at different points. Approximately 374 signs and banners will be erected in the area to control traffic.

BTS’ 10th anniversary celebration is expected to be of large scale, with fans being able to experience exciting activities, including the “BTS History Wall,” stage costume displays, commemorative sculptures, and more.

The event will also feature the participation of BTS members themselves, and even a fireworks display in the evening.

With the inclusion of fireworks in the event, Prime Minister Han Duck Soo emphasizes the implementation of proactive measures to prevent potential crowding accidents.

To ensure even greater safety for participants, he has instructed the forces to inspect event venues and public transportation, as a majority of fans may use buses and subways for transportation.
