Actor Choi Jae Rim unveils his true personality which is the opposite of his on-screen character.
As “Lies Hidden in My Garden” is making waves in the K-drama scene, supporting actors are also getting their share of the spotlight. Recently, Choi Jae Rim transformed into an abusive and violent husband whose death turns everyone’s life upside down in the drama.
The actor plays Yoon Beom, Chu Sang Eun’s (Lim Ji Yeon) husband and a salesperson for a pharmaceutical company. He is aggressive, violent, and extremely intimidating on-screen.
However, in the making video, viewers got a glimpse into Choi Jae Rim’s actual personality, which is the total opposite of the aggressive Yoon Beom.
Specifically, in the released video, when Choi Jae Rim heard a cool “cut” sign from the director, the actor immediately dropped his violent front and changed back into a shy person with a playful smile.
Jae Rim also boasts a close relationship with the rest of the cast. He was seen posing a V-sign with Kim Tae Hee in the making video. When talking about her fellow actor, Lim Ji Yeon also revealed she considered Jae Rim like an older brother.
On July 7, actor Choi is scheduled to appear on the entertainment show “I Live Alone” and gives a closer look into his daily life, from his routine to everyday meals. Moreover, the teaser also shows Choi Jae Rim smiling while talking to someone on his phone, piquing viewers’ curiosity.
Choi Jae Rim, dubbed the “Emperor of Musicals,” will return to his role as a musical actor through the “Phantom of the Opera” performance at the end of August.
