The teaser for “Part of Your World”, sung by NewJeans Danielle for the movie “The Little Mermaid”, is receiving a heated response from fans.
“The Little Mermaid” is a live-action adaptation of the Disney’s animated film released in 1989, with the character Ariel played by actress Halle Bailey.
NewJeans Danielle has taken on the role of Ariel in the Korean dubbed version of “The Little Mermaid.” Prior to the film’s release, Walt Disney Company Korea released two teaser music videos and still photos of Danielle’s “Part of Your World.”
The video has since reached 2.26 million views and over 7,000 comments within just four days of being released, becoming a rapidly trending video.
Given the heated response from numerous countries and regions, including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia, anticipation for the full version of the video is also growing.
Notably, this is even higher than the record set by Halle Bailey’s teaser video. The official teaser for “Part of Your World” for “The Little Mermaid” was released nine days ago, but has only reached 590,000 views and received around 2,700 comments.
“Part of Your World” is the theme song of Ariel, the main character of “The Little Mermaid.” It expresses Ariel’s longing for the human world and her desire to explore a broader world.
The song sung by Danielle will be released at 6PM (KST) on May 17th. Meanwhile, the music video featuring Danielle, will also be released on the Disney Music Korea VEVO YouTube channel, at the same time with the song release.
