Netizens react to “The Uncanny Counter 2” teaser posters introducing scary villains, “I’m afraid that the Counters will lose”

The Counters will return in Season 2 of the hero drama “The Uncanny Counter” to defeat evil spirits on Earth.

Amid the explosive attention and interest for “The Uncanny Counter” even before its official release, the vicious images of the villains have been revealed, raising fans’ expectations.

On June 19th, tvN’s “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch” released two teaser posters and confirmed the premiere date. Based on a webtoon of the same name, Season 1 of “The Uncanny Counter” ranked No.1 in OCN’s drama rating rankings.

The Uncanny Counter

In particular, Counters have become much stronger with new abilities and the joining of a new member in this season. However, as the villains have also become more malicious and evil, viewers are looking forward to seeing more intense fights.

The released poster caught the eyes of drama fans by showing evil spirits Pil Kwang (Kang Ki Young), Gelli (Kim Hieora), and Woong (Kim Hyun Wook) with fierce facial expressions.

The determined look on the faces of the Counters contrasts sharply with the mocking expressions of the villains. In particular, Woong’s scary smile shows the sign that it will be more difficult for the Counters to defeat the evil spirits.

In addition, the appearance of the villains facing Jin Seon Kyu (as Ma Joo Seok) in an area surrounded by the Territory stimulates fans’ curiosity. The fact that Ma Joo Seok stands at the boundary between evil and good makes it impossible to determine his true identity.

“Counters” Jo Byung Gyu (as So Mun), Yoo Joon Sang (as Ga Mo Tak), Kim Se Jeong (as Do Ha Na), Yeom Hye Ran (as Chu Mae Ok), Ahn Seok Hwan (as Choi Jang Mul), and the new Counter Yoo In Soo (Jeok Bong) are ready to fight evil spirits in new Counter uniforms.

Instead of the red training suits in Season 1, they will change to black training suits with red stripes to give off a more powerful atmosphere.

Showing anticipation for the new season, netizens commented, “I can feel their power just by looking at the poster”, “Kang Ki Young makes a new acting transformation?”, “All of them may lose to Woong”, “I’m afraid that they will lose to the villains”, etc.

Meanwhile, tvN’s new Sat-Sun drama “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch” will premiere at 9:20 p.m. on July 29th.
