Netflix’s “Black Knight” to be unveiled on May 12th, here’s a sneak peek

The Netflix series “Black Knight”, starring Kim Woo Bin, will finally be released on May 12th after a long wait.

“Black Knight” is set in the Korean Peninsula in 2071, where people cannot survive without oxygen respirators due to severe air pollution. The story revolves around legendary deliveryman “5-8” and refugee “Sawol”, as they confront the ruling Cheonmyeong Group in a new world.

Since early May, Netflix Korea has been releasing still cuts through its official social media (SNS) channels, raising expectations for the main release.

The released stills showcase the cast of “Black Knight” and the dynamic story unfolding in the film’s backdrop.

In the drama, a meteorite collision happened, causing the environment to rapidly desertify with insufficient oxygen to breathe, capturing the audience’s attention as they depict the lives of people living in such conditions.

In this work, actor Kim Woo Bin will play Deliveryman 5-8, a character who delivers oxygen during the day to ensure humanity’s survival and leads a double life as a Black Knight at night.

Song Seung Heon portrays Ryu Seok, the cruel heir of the Cheonmyeong Group, who undergoes a transformation, driven by jealousy over his father’s achievements.
