NCT’s Renjun Firmly Responds To Sasaengfan, “Don’t Hide Like A Rat, Talk To My Lawyer”
NCT member Renjun complained of having a hard time due to the rude text message he received from a sasaengfan
Recently, NCT’s Renjun uploaded a screenshot of a message he received from a sasaengfan in the paid fan communication app Bubble.
According to the screenshot, the sasaengfan sent Renjun a message, saying, “It’s become so easy for idols to live now. They have good looks and earn money. They date freely, but they’re thoughtless and cannot sing live at all. They’re not as passionate as their previous generations. Just relax. Get rid of this phone number again”.
Renjun straightforwardly responded to the sasaengfan, saying “Don’t just hide and type these things like a rat. If you have something to say to me, face me with a lawyer. Contact this person and say whatever you want to say”, adding the contact information of his legal representative.
After sharing that message conversation in Bubble with other fans, Renjun continued expressing his feelings, saying “Idols are humans, too. We do have our hard times! Are you judging me by trying to live my life with such an unbelievable schedule? Of course, what we show to everyone should be pretty and beautiful. In that way, we can all gain energy from each other”.
He added, “If you try hard to follow your dreams, money will follow you. Is there any job in this world that doesn’t make money?”, adding “Let’s live our own life properly. Don’t waste your time by messing with people unrelated to you. Learn to calm yourself down and stay calm when you have time. Don’t pour your frustration on people you don’t know”.
In response, fans voiced enthusiastic support for Renjun, saying “He must have had a hard time”, “I would also get stressed out if I were him”, “Sasaengfans are so scary. I can’t believe they even got idols’ phone numbers and contacted them”, “Sasaeng are not fans”, “I’m amazed by the way he scolded sasaengfans”, etc.
While the majority of fans and netizens sympathized with Renjun and criticized the sasaengfan’s behavior, some fans expressed discomfort over the NCT member sending an unpleasant issue in the paid communication app. Realizing that, Renjun later apologized on the same day, saying “I’m so sorry. I should have said only pleasant things with NCTzen (NCT’s fandom) here. I couldn’t think of that properly. Have a day full of energy today, everyone!”.
In response to Renjun’s apology, netizens comforted the male idol, saying “He must have endured it so much and just poured out all at once like that. Isn’t it too much to ask him to hold it back?”, “If the situation were that bad, Renjun wouldn’t have said it like that?”, “Why did you guys say his action was thoughtless?”, “He must have suffered so much that he ended up saying that”, etc.
