Kang Ji Young of KARA expressed her longing by leaving a comment on an old post of the late Goo Hara.
On July 24, 2013, Goo Hara posted a photo on her Instagram with the caption, “We have been working hard, right, Ji Young? Let’s be better adults. Don’t change your mind now”.
The photo showed Kang Ji Young and Goo Hara taking a photo together with fresh appearances like when they first debuted. It seems that the post was made to commemorate the day Kang Ji Young and Goo Hara’s recruitment to the girl group KARA.
Now, 9 years later, on November 8th, Kang Ji Young left a comment under the post, saying, “I miss you so much today. I don’t know if I’m doing well, but I’m working hard to become a cool adult. I’ll go meet you with a nice gift soon. I love you”.
Goo Hara debuted in the music industry as a member of girl group Kara in 2008. In 2015, she also rose to prominence as a solo singer, releasing her solo album and participating in a number of drama OSTs, and was active in both Korea and Japan.
However, on November 24th, 2019, the idol-actress was found dead at the age of 28, causing regret.
On the other hand, Goo Hara and Kang Ji Young’s group KARA will release their 15th anniversary album “MOVE AGAIN” on November 29th and return as a full group after 7 years.
The group has also been announced as a performing artist at the 2022 MAMA AWARDS, raising high expectations.
