Pop star Madonna collapsed.
According to People on June 28th (local time), Madonna was found collapsed with symptoms of a serious bacterial infection and was taken to the hospital.
Madonna’s manager and producer Guy Oseary announced through SNS that Madonna was in the ICU due to the health scare and is now recovering.
He wrote, “On June 24th, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.”
He added, “At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”
Madonna (64) was scheduled to conduct the “Celebration World Tour” from July to mark her 40th debut anniversary.
