Lim Young Woong & Soyou agencies deny dating rumors, “He went there with his vocal teacher”

Singer Lim Young Woong and former Sistar member Soyou both refuted dating rumors through their agencies.

Referring to the rumored romantic relationship between Lim Young Woong and Soyou, an official from Lim Young Woong’s agency Mulgogi Music said to Newsen on July 10th, “It’s not true at all”, adding “Lim Young Woong went to the restaurant with his vocal teacher”.

Soyou’s agency Big Planet Made representative also explained the rumor, saying “Soyou recently visited Jeju Island for a filming schedule. Coincidentally, she went to the same place as Lim Young Woong. However, they have nothing to do with each other”.

The dating rumor suddenly broke out due to the two photos of Lim Young Woong and Soyou taken in front of a BBQ restaurant in Jeju. Since the restaurant staff released proof shots with Lim Young Woong and Soyou through Instagram on the same day, some netizens raised suspicions that the two visited the restaurant together.

A netizen who spread the rumor said, “When fans asked if Lim Young Woong and Soyou came together, the restaurant staff replied that the two came with different groups”, then deleted Soyou’s photo.

The fact that Lim Young Woong and Soyou had previously appeared on TV Chosun’s entertainment program “Ppongsoongah School” as partners in the past also fueled speculations.

However, the alleged romantic relationship suspicion has been confirmed to be groundless. In particular, that place is a very famous meat restaurant in Jeju, and the dating rumor ended as an accident caused by overlapping schedules.
