Lee Jin-wook Thinks He Has Lacking Appearance Compared To Jung Woo-sung, Jo In-sung, Hyun Bin But Is No.1 With Another Charm

Lee Jin-wook has been spotlighted for his more skillful performances in various genres, regardless of the role he plays. In particular, he impressed global viewers by appearing in Netflix’s original series one after another, including “Sweet Home Season 2,” “Doona!” and “Squid Game Season 2.”

Recently, the actor had interview with Sisa Journal about his Netflix projects. In this interview, the reporter asked, “Did you have any pressure doing the nude scene in “Sweet Home 2”?”

Lee answered, “Exposure scenes also have concepts, such as showing an exercised body or a normal but healthy body. In the case of this work, it was the latter. So I didn’t feel any pressure. If you think about it, all the actors i with nude scenes have a good body. Rather, it doesn’t have a sense of reality. For example, if my role is a restaurant owner, isn’t it strange that I look bulk in a nude scene? So, I chose the latter. Of course, the audience’s reaction is that my sculptural body is good (laughs).”

When the reporter mentioned that many people pay more attention to his appearance than his acting, Lee said, “I don’t look like that. There are too many good-looking people, including Jung Woo-sung, Jo In-sung, Hyun Bin, and Kang Dong-won. I’m not that good enough. But there is a hidden charm of mine that the public does not know. With that charm, I’m No. 1.”

“What kind of charm is it?” asked the reporter.

“I’m a ‘useful person’. If something happens to my friends, they contact me first. I may not comfort them directly, but I help solve the problem for them. I am a rational friend who teaches them to wake up rather than comfort them when things happen. I think all of us have one of those friends around. I’m playing that role.”
