2022 December Boy Group Brand Reputation Ranking: BTS ranks No.1, followed by Seventeen in 2nd place

BTS continues to top the Boy Group Brand Reputation Ranking in December.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed consumers’ behaviors on 53,254,856 boy group brand big data measured from November 10th, 2022 to December 10th, 2022, and measured participation index, media index, communication index, and community index of boy group brands. The result increased by 4.48% compared to November’s brand data of 50,972,215.

Top 30 in the 2022 December Boy Group Brand Reputation Ranking are named as follows: BTS, Seventeen, Stray Kids, NCT, The Boyz, EXO, Monsta X, SHINee, TREASURE, BTOB, ASTRO, TXT, Winner, Enhypen, Super Junior, ATEEZ, INFINITE, VIXX, SF9, 2PM, Verivery, Pentagon, Wanna One, BIG BANG, DBSK, GOT7, VICTON, Block B, Shinhwa, and Tempest.

Koo Chang Hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said, “As a result of the big data analysis for the Boy Group Brand Reputation Ranking in December 2022, BTS brand dominated No.1. According to detailed analysis, brand consumption decreased by 17.46%, brand issue increased by 0.88%, brand communication fell by 2,35%, and brand expansion went up by 16.72%.”

He continued, “In the link analysis, the No.1 brand on the list – BTS was analyzed mostly with ‘perform’, ‘record’, and ‘reveal’. In the keyword analysis, ‘Jungkook’, ‘Jin’, and ‘RM’ were highlighted. BTS received a positive result of 90.42% in the positive/negative ratio analysis. Looking at the detailed analysis of the brand reputation of BTS brand, brand consumption is 22.21% down, brand issue 78.67% up, brand communication 51.40% up, and brand expansion 60.39% down”.
