Lee Ji Ah boasts elegance appearance with daughter for new K-drama “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise”

In “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise”, Lee Ji Ah will show a vengeful and fierce image, playing a character who sacrifices her life to protect her beloved family.

On February 16th, still cuts of Hong Tae Ra, Lee Ji Ah‘s character in the tvN Saturday-Sunday drama, “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise” was released. 

In “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise”, Hong Tae Ra is the wife of Pyo Jae Hyun (Lee Sang Yoon), the chairman of IT company Haechi, and a mother of a cute daughter, Pyo Ji Woo (Kim Si Woo).

As can be seen in the stills, Lee Ji Ah was completely immersed into her role of Hong Tae Ra, who leads a life that everyone envy. Following her bright smile towards her daughter, her graceful figure catches attention. In particular, dressed in a pure white dress while putting on earrings, curiosity starts to rise about the secret that Hong Tae Ra holds. 

Hong Tae Ra, whose life has always been picture-perfect, found her world turned upside-down as fragments of her lost memories started to return. Earlier, in the teaser video, Lee Ji Ah raised expectations for this role with her intense action performance, risking all sorts of threats for her loved ones.

Regarding her choice to star in “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise”, Lee Ji Ah said, “The script was really good, and I felt fascinated by Hong Tae Ra’s character the moment I read it.”

“The director always gives the best solution considering all the staff, actors, and the situation on set. The writer also makes me feel trust and consideration for the work. I am grateful to be able to work with a good script, excellent direction, and great staff,” Lee Ji Ah also expressed her gratitude.

On the other hand, “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise” will introduce a fierce and vengeful side of Lee Ji Ah via an immersive acting performance.

The actress also disclosed her dedication to her character, saying, “I discussed a lot with the director, writer, and staff about how to express Hong Tae Ra in a new way and what the point of differentiation would be.”

“As is often said, I think a good work is created when the writers, directors, and actors are in harmony. Our drama is really harmonious, so I think viewers will feel the harmony, variety, and coherence. It is a special point of our drama,” she emphasized.

Meanwhile, “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise” will premiere on March 11th at 9:10 PM (KST)
