Lee Je-hoon “I often regret establishing my own agency”

Lee Je-hoon expressed regret over establishing his own agency

On March 30th, the agency’s CEO Lee Je-hoon and the agency’s actor Lee Dong-hwi appeared on the YouTube channel “DdeunDdeun”.

Lee Je-hoon said, “Since I started a company, I work harder than ever. There are employees working together with me. I have to pay their salaries, office rent, vehicle lease fees and fixed expenses for utilities. Actor Dong-hwi joining the company gives me a lot of strength. He’s a great help. I’m grateful. I want to support him in any way I can.

Lee Dong-hwi jokingly remarked, “I think you need to change my car to a more fuel-efficient one.”

When Yoo Jae-suk commented “Running an agency and being under one are like night and day. There are many things we didn’t expect“, Lee Je-hoon revealed, “The cost of fixed expenses increases as time goes by. By the third year, I started worrying about it. Labor costs are also rising.”

Lee Dong-hwi expressed his determination, “I was planning to take a break after finishing ‘Chief Detective 1958’, but after hearing what the CEO said, I’ll do my best to be helpful.”

When asked if he ever regretted founding the agency, Lee Je-hoon honestly admitted “Often“, causing laughter. He continued, “Being human, I wanted to rest and have fun, but I still think it’s time to work hard, for the sake of the employees.”

Lee Dong-hwi commented, “From the outside, it seems like you’re just working all the time.” Lee Je-hoon shared, “I’m managing artists, and I’m also operating a film production company. We are currently preparing an OTT series.

Lee Je-hoon explained the reason for establishing the agency, “I was with my first company for about 12 years, but we parted ways. So I needed another affiliation. If I go to another company and part ways again after 2~3 years, will I go to another company again? Instead of that, I thought, since I want to work as an actor for the rest of my life, why not do it alone? Without moving or transferring. That’s how I thought and started.
