“Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun” releases character posters

The character posters of “Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun” Jang Dong Gun, Lee Joon Gi, Shin Se Kyung and Kim Ok Bin were released.

The series aims to continue the success of the K-fantasy genre, following the popularity of “Moving“.

Set to be released through Disney+ on September 9th, “Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun” depicts the story of what happens in Arth approximately a decade later than the timeline in Season 1. It tells the fateful stories of Tagon, Eunseom, Tanya and Tae Alha writing different legends in the ancient land of “Arth”.

Jang Dong Gun portrays Tagon, the first king of Arthdal, who triggers major wars for absolute power. His character showcases a mix of charisma and menace, presenting a powerful and fearsome ruler. Lee Joon Gi takes on dual roles as Eunseom, the leader of the Ago tribe, and Saya, the commander of the armed forces, demonstrating his acting prowess. Shin Se Kyung portrays Tanya, a religious leader in Arthdal, displaying both strength and awe-inspiring presence. Kim Ok Bin plays Tae Alha, the queen of Arthdal, exuding ambition and intensity at the pinnacle of political power.

The series brings to life legendary heroes from ancient times, portrayed by Jang Dong Gun, Lee Joon Gi, Shin Se Kyung and Kim Ok Bin, creating an air of mystique and anticipation around their performances. Furthermore, “Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun” boasts a talented production team that promises a top-notch fantasy series. The collaboration between acclaimed historical drama writers Kim Young Hyun and Park Sang Yeon, renowned director Kim Kwang Sik (known for “The Great Battle”) as well as various experts in cinematography, art direction, costume design and visual effects is expected to deliver an engaging and visually captivating production.
