Lee Hyori sold out eco-friendly hand cream? Sincere intent to change the world

With her great influence and sincere wish to change the world, singer Lee Hyori has sold out an eco-friendly hand cream.

Lee Hyori recently had a photoshoot with Vogue Korea, where she displayed her natural beauty and posed with a brand’s hand cream; Since Hyori is known for her activism and the hand cream is eco-friend, Vogue Korea described the shoot as “facing the sincerity to change the world”.

Having re-opened her personal account, Lee Hyori showed a genuine commitment to promoting the brand. She tagged the brand’s account in her photoshoot post, and even released a preview video of the photoshoot. Fans were surprised by this never-before-seen side of her, with some joking that she must have acquired the brand.

The reason for Lee Hyori’s genuine promotion of the brand is that their product was made using 100% biodegradable plastic containers, for the first time in the world. As such, Lee Hyori once again exercised her influence and showed her sincerely committed to animal welfare and the environment.

Lee Hyori’s influence certainly worked. Immediately after its release on April 25th, the brand’s hand cream sold out its entire initial supply, which was supposed to be enough to last a year. The brand scrambled to replenish their stock, stating, “Due to overwhelming support beyond our expectations, our entire inventory has been immediately sold out, and we have decided to replenish the entire stock that was initially planned for overseas distribution.”

Lee Hyori, well aware of her influence, has always used it for good causes. Since adopting an abandoned dog in 2011, the singer has been continuously volunteering at an abandoned dog shelter. Lee Hyori’s advocacy for pet adoption has changed the public’s perception of adopting abandoned dogs. Recently, she appeared on tvN’s “Canada Check-in”, where she met dogs that had been adopted overseas. As a result, actress Uhm Ji Won learned about it and started to volunteer for the practice.

But that’s not all. In 2020, Lee Hyori shared a photo of herself wearing shoes handmade by people with hearing impairments, praising the beauty of the shoes. It is known that she personally hired a photographer to take photos of her and her husband, Lee Sang Soon, wearing the shoes, and provided them to the brand. The brand’s shoes, known for being worn by former President Moon Jae In, received so much attention due to the “Lee Hyori effect” that their website server became paralyzed. The public is once again applauding her consistent efforts.

Meanwhile, Lee Hyori will appear on tvN’s “The Dancing Wanderers”. which will premiere on May 25th.
