A banner at KBS Entertainment Awards caught netizens’ attention: “Chen, Bobby, Chan-sung! “The Return of Superman” awaits you”

At the 2021 KBS Entertainment Awards, which was held on Dec 25th and hosted by Kim Sung-joo, Moon Se-yoon, and Han Sun-hwa, each program can be seen hanging their banner in the audience seats.

KBS2’s “The Return of Superman” has listed the names of celebrities who became fathers on its banners such as “Kim Yong-gun, Kim Gu-ra, Jo Jung-seok, Gosu, Ryu Hyun-jin, Taeyang, Chen, Bobby, and Chan-sung,” along with the comment, “The Return of Superman awaits you.”

In particular, what caught the attention of netizens was the mention of idol stars such as Chen, Bobby, and Chan-sung, who were criticized among fans for their premarital pregnancy issues as well as Kim Yong-gun, who was controversial for his abortion forcing controversy.

Some netizens who saw this voiced their opinions, saying, “I don’t care about them mentioning the stars they want to cast, but aren’t some embarrassing to be called Superman?” “Really boring jokes,” and “It’s enough to mention Superman dads who are appearing now, why did they do this?”

On the other hand, some responded quite favorably, saying, “Isn’t it the production crew’s right to mention the stars they want to cast on their reality program?” “It seems like a funny joke.
