As dance covers often take place in public spaces, external annoyances are almost inevitable. A clip of an incident during the filming of a K-pop dance crew’s NewJeans dance cover is drawing attention.
In the shared clip, while the said crew was filming their cover of NewJeans’ “OMG”, the cameraman stretched his legs out to trip two running children across their shooting area. One of them tripped and fell flat on the ground for a moment. Luckily, the boy got up later, and nothing fatal happened.
Netizens poured into the comment section to criticize their action and ignorance, leading to the crew removing the clip. The majority agreed that the cameraman’s action was extremely dangerous and could have had a more life-threatening outcome. Other netizens also affirmed that doing so is unacceptable even when the filming is disturbed.
