EXO members Sehun and Chanyeol was reported to have signed with a new agency, but SM denied
According to an official in the entertainment industry, Sehun and Chanyeol of EXO will sign an exclusive contract with a new company to carry out more diverse individual activities apart from their group activities.
Until recently, the two was said to have discussed the direction of their activities through a long conversation with an SM Entertainment representative and agreed on transferring to a new company. However, the official revealed that their group activities will be carried out with SM Entertainment as they are now.
The new home for Sehun and Chanyeol is said to be established by Jung Hoon-tak, a former CEO of iHQ, an entertainment agency, and an adviser to the Korea Entertainment Management Association.
However, as soon as this news broke out, SM Entertainment has denied the rumor, stating that such a contract has not been signed.
Meanwhile, Sehun and Chanyeol used to be active as EXO’s second unit group “EXO-SC.”
